Educational Qualification- Candidates who have passed 12th standard examination from any recognized Board / Council with at least 70% marks or its equivalent grade in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects taken together are eligible to apply.
Age Limit- Age should be between 16 & half and 19 & half years as on the first date of the month in which the course is due to commence that means candidates should be born between 01.07.2000 and 01.07.2003.
Salary- During the training period, candidates will get a stipend of Rs.56,100/- p.m. On successful completion of the training, candidates will be commissioned in the rank of 'Lieutenant' in the pay Scale of Rs. 56,100/- - 1,77,500/-

Physical Requirement- Height should be at least 157 cms ( 152 cms for Gorkha, Garwalis & North Eastern Candidates) with correlated weight.
Fully expanded chest should be at least 81 cms.
Distant vision should be 6/6 in better eye & 6/9 in the worse eye. Myopia should not be more than -2.5D & Hypermetropia should not be more than 3.5D including astigmatism.
Candidates having undergone Radial Keratotomy are not eligible to apply.
Mode of Selection of Indian Army Officers Recruitment 2019
Selection will be made primarily on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th standard examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview, to be conduct by the services Selection Board at Bhopal, Bengaluru, Kapurthala & Allahabad. the duration of the Interview will be 5 days. On the first day i.e. in Stage-I, candidates will be put through Psychological Test including Group Test & Interview. Qualified candidates in the Stage-I will be called for Medical Test, to be lasted for 3 to 5 days. After that, successful candidates will be appointed for training in order of merit depending on the available vacancy. The entire cost of the training including books & reading material will be borne by the Indian Army. Afterward, they will be granted for Permanent/ short service Commission in the Army. The tenure of Short Service Commission is 14 years. Candidates, who will appear fo SSB Interview for the first time shall be paid A.C III tire Rail / Bus Fare. Selected candidates will have to undergo training for a period of 5 years.

- 20 copies of self-attested passport size recent photograph,
- Original as well as 2 sets of self-attested photostat copies of:-
i) Class X Certificate in support of date of Birth,
ii) Class XII Certificate & Marksheets in support of educational Qualification
iii) Photo ID proof viz. Aadhar Card/ PAN Card / Passport / Driving License / Voter ID Card.
How to Apply for Indian Army Bharti 2019
Candidates will have to apply online through this website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in within 08.06.2019. Before applying online, candidates will have to go the detailed recruitment notification available on that website. Thereafter, candidates will have to open the appropriate online application form & fill all the required fields properly. After that, candidates should verify data, what he put in the application form. After verification, the application should be submitted by clicking the 'Submit' button. On successful submission of the online application form, an 'Acknowledgment with Roll Number' will be generated. Candidates will have to take 2 printouts of the system generated 'Application Form' & 'Acknowledgment with Roll Number', which must be retained for future purpose.
Last date for submission of the application is 8th June, 2019.
